Main House & Carriage House Suites
Timeless. Historic. Intimate. With just five delightful rooms and suites within our main house and carriage house, there are never more than 10 guests staying with us at any given time. Our luxurious inn is where travelers come to nest while exploring the charming town of Plymouth, Michigan. There are three rooms sharing the second floor of the historic main house. Discover the absence of ordinary beyond the threshold of each guestroom with an array of original and enhance appointments, from oversized bay windows and oak floors to classically-designed private baths boasting contemporary amenities for added convenience.
With its burnished oak floors, bay windows and distant views of downtown, the Starling Room, on the second floor of the main house, is a wonderful space to reside at the end of the day.
The Goldfinch is a species known for its brightly hued feathers. While this room on the second floor in the main house offers more neutral hues, its breathtaking bay window bathes the room in natural light.
The Sparrow, on the second floor of the main house, spares no expense in creating a cocoon of warmth and privacy, with windows gazing out towards the west framing garden views.
Carriage House Suites
The carriage house is a separate building at our Plymouth, MI inn located directly behind the main house with two suites on the second floor. Each suite boasts their own private entrance. For those looking for a spacious retreat, the carriage house suites offer guests plush accommodations in a private setting.
The Lark suite, on the second floor of our carriage house, recalls the elegance of a bygone era. A four poster king bed, uniquely made with iron and leather, and a collection of thoughtful furnishings await.
The Wren suite, on the second floor of our carriage house, offers a melodic array of wonderful appointments including a four poster king bed, uniquely made with iron and leather.

Check-in time is between 4 PM – 6 PM. Late arrivals can be arranged by contacting the innkeeper directly.
Check out time is by 11:00 AM.
Early Arrivals and Late Departures
We will do our best to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, but please note it is based on room availability and not always possible. Both carry an extra fee.
Rates at Robyn’s Inn are based on double occupancy. The maximum occupancy is 2 people per room. Rates are subject to change without notice. A minimum length of stay may be required on select weekends and holidays. We do not accept personal checks.
Michigan requires 6% use tax on room rate and 6% sales tax on any merchandise purchased.
A deposit of one-night room rate and tax is due at time of booking to guarantee reservation. The balance will be charged upon arrival.
Reservations must be cancelled at least 10 days prior to arrival date to receive full deposit refund. Cancellations made fewer than 10 days prior to arrival will be charged the entire length of stay. Due to the intimate size of our inn, we have to adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
No-Show and Early Departure
If a guest fails to check-in or departs prior to check-out date, full payment of the entire length of stay will be charged.
Multiple Room Booking, Extended Stay, and Events
Reservations of three or more rooms, reservations for extended length of stay (5 or more nights), or reservations associated with an event are subject to additional deposit and cancellation policies.
Due to the nature of the property, it is not recommended for parents traveling with small children.
While we love our four-legged friends, pets are not permitted for the safety and comfort of all our guests. We are happy to recommend nearby kennel services. Penelope, the inns resident French Bulldog, does live on property with the owners.
The inn is pleased to offer complimentary parking on-site. Carriage House suite bookings include reserved covered parking inside the garage, while Main House bookings will be assigned a spot on the driveway.
The inn is a completely smoke-free environment and is not permitted anywhere on the grounds. If there is any smoking detected in a guest room, an additional $500 cleaning fee will automatically be charged to the guest account.
Candles or open flames are not permitted anywhere on property.
The use of the inn is reserved only for registered guests. For the privacy and respect of all our guests, we kindly request that guests do not bring any additional friends or family from the area to visit that are not staying with us.
Robyn’s Inn warmly welcomes all guests. However, due to the historic significance of our 1903 Queen Anne Victorian building, the property is not wheelchair accessible. Removal of necessary physical barriers for accessibility is not readily achievable as such removal would threaten or destroy the historic significance of the property.
These barriers include:
- All of our guest rooms are located on the 2nd floor
- No elevator
- Numerous steps leading to guest rooms
- Narrow Hallways and doorways are not wheelchair accessible
We work to ensure every guest who wishes to visit can do so regardless of their physical abilities. Among the ways we comply with ADA:
- We ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals without disabilities.
- We have identified and described the features in our bed and breakfast and guest rooms in detail to allow individuals with disabilities to determine whether our B&B meets their needs.
- We ensure that accessible guest rooms are held for use by individuals with disabilities until all other guest rooms of that type have been rented.
- We guarantee that the specific rooms, once reserved, are held for the reserving customer. We make reasonable efforts with third-party reservation systems to make all rooms available through at least some of these services and they must provide these third-party services with information concerning the features of the hotel and rooms.
- Guests with legitimate service animals as defined in the ADA will be provided access to all areas of the inn afforded to those without service animals.
